As Strategy Director, Andrew works to shape initial conversations with new and existing clients, guiding project strategy from the development of proposals through the transition to project. Andrew also manages Tellart’s communications from his studio in New York City, including project documentation, press inquiries, internal stunts, and maintaining the social media voice on Tellart’s blog and other properties. Before moving to New York, Andrew spent several years in the Providence headquarters as an Interaction Designer and Project Manager.
Andrew is an honors graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design’s Industrial Design department and has also studied product design at Konstfack in Stockholm, Sweden. Before rejoining Tellart in 2012, Andrew served as the Visual Director for a leading fashion agency in New York. He has also worked in product and furniture design in New York, Providence, and Rotterdam, where he assisted in projects for clients such as Droog Design and moooi.
Andrew’s recognitions and awards include Telenor and Ericsson’s “Best New Mobile Service” prize (Sweden), as well as design work and sculpture featured in print and online publications such as FRAME, Metropolis, Make, Fast Company, Boing Boing, and Core77. Andrew is a contributing design writer for various blogs and magazines.
