As Tellart’s Strategy Director, Andrew works with clients to conceive and shape new work– from the development of initial concepts, designs and strategies through to contract and execution.
Andrew’s design and UX methods are grounded in years of experience with the realities of production, combined with a deep understanding of human centered design and its cultural impact. Before starting Tellart’s office in New York, Andrew spent several years in the Providence headquarters as a producer and interaction designer. Previously, Andrew served as the Visual Director for a leading fashion agency in New York, which followed both independent and in-house product and furniture design work in New York, Stockholm, and Rotterdam. Andrew studied Product Design at Konstfack (Stockholm) and Industrial Design and Digital+Media at the Rhode Island School of Design, where he has also served as a visiting critic.
Andrew’s recognitions and awards include Telenor and Ericsson’s “Best New Mobile Service” prize, as well as independent work featured in print and online publications such as Metropolis, Make, Fast Company, and PSFK. The projects that he has shaped for Tellart have been the recipient of worldwide press and many international industry awards, including Cannes Lions, IxDA, Core77 Design Award and others.
Andrew is a contributing design writer for various blogs and magazines and lives in Brooklyn.
